National Suicide Prevention Day

"The fact that you're struggling doesn't make you a burden. It doesn't make you unlovable or undesirable or underserving of care. It doesn't make you too much or too sensitive or too needy. It makes you human... The truth is that you can be struggling and still be loved." - Daniell Koepke

Since today is National Suicide Prevention Day I thought I would share some photos I took that represent the light and darkness in our lives. Just because you may feel surrounded by darkness doesn't mean that there isn't any light peaking through.

National Suicide Prevention Week starts today

"The sun will rise and we will try again." - Truce, Twenty One Pilots

Today is the first day of National sucicide prevention week. It is super important to remember that others around you may be struggling just as much as you are or even more so. Please, don't hesitate at asking people how they really are and making time to listen and be there for the people around you. Life is fragile and we need to hold onto each other as close as possible. We can not get through life alone.

DIY Succulunt Plant Teacups

I am so excited to share this super simple and cute DIY that I have been loving recently. I love how this DIY can be used for a lot of things like a birthday gift, for party decor, or even a wedding favor. Also, did I mention all you need is three things? I can't honestly think of what is better than a cute, cheap, and easy DIY.

What you will need:

1. Succulent plants

2. Teacups (I recommend finding some from a thrift store)

3. Dirt

Note: If you want you can also add moss

Tip: I found adding some dirt into the teacup first and creating a hole around where the succulent plant will be was easiest, but you can also put the succulent plant first and then add some more dirt around the edges.

How cute do they look once they are done? Now the hardest part is going to be keeping these plants alive.
